International Programs

Universidad Hispanoamericana (UH) in Costa Rica, and Universidad Americana (UAM) in Nicaragua, have partnered to offer a unique semester abroad experience.  For the first time, university students can study Spanish, learn cultural similarities and differences travel to incredible natural settings, and experience the vibrant realities of everyday life.

The acquisition of Spanish language skills is an important asset in today’s globalized world.  And since language acquisition is enhanced by culture, and vice versa, this new program has been developed to maximize this learning experience by having an immersion into adjacent Central American countries.
